Hi guys.
The lighting was great today, and I got some really nice shots of the rally.* You will see a bunch of pictures of three guys with Noah. They are reps from DC area schools, including GWU, and they will bring food, manpower, and blankets on Tuesday. They told us they support us fully, amid loud cheers. It was nice to see so many alumnus are planning to stay throughout this week. The BBC was also around, having flown from England to tape the events. Trust me, Homecoming will be a big catalyst, and so will the faculty meeting tomorrow. Hey, faculty, any of you willing to let me in to take pictures? I doubt it *grin* but if you are, e-mail me or see me at Gallaudet. I’ll be around tomorrow.
It has certainly been a wild ride, and I have to be thankful to my boss, Makebra, and the company vice-prez, David, for being so understanding and letting me take a lot of time off work. However, I have bills to pay, so I have to go back to work on Tuesday. Tomorrow, I’ll be trying to take some last pictures, and after that I will come in the evenings and catch what I can.
Heart-felt hugs, thanks and smiles to everyone who has supported me, from suggesting good photo compositions, to complimenting my photos, to ordering them, to offering to help. You have no idea how much you inspire me, and how much the smallest things mean. I will donate any and all profits from my photos to the FSSA, beyond equipment and printing costs. Peace be with you all….
“The world is not respectable; it is mortal, tormented, confused, deluded forever; but it is shot through with beauty, with love, with glints of courage and laughter; and in these, the spirit blooms timidly and struggles to the light amid the thorns.”
-George Santayana
