It has already been agreed by both MPD and the protestors that only one gate needs to be open, and the agreed-upon gate was the 6th street gate. Protestors have not tried to reblock the gate ever since the arrests, but have continued to block the other gates.

After this morning’s incident, there are currently MPD officers talking with protestors at the front gate. Some are saying that there might be arrests, but others are saying that the MPD says they do not want to arrest anybody (just like they said they didn’t want to arrest anybody at the 6th gate and they didn’t, it was the DPS and the rent-a-cops who did the arresting on Black Friday).

For now, they need more bodies at the MSSD gate.
