the security guards/police say really aren’t allowed to be here b/c its not hotel property, belongs to someone else, I assume the office building across from us. a lot of ppl are here and several interpreters. so allowed to stay for press conference which is happening in 15 minutes
then we will move to a roped off location by the street, where there will be a brief candlelight vigil.
